Direct Commercial Property (DCP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Kent as Director – Funds Management, marking an important step in the continued evolution of the firm’s investment platform.
As DCP’s investor base and portfolio continue to grow, the appointment reflects the firm’s focus on maintaining disciplined capital management and long-term alignment with investors seeking commercial property investment opportunities.
Tim joins DCP with extensive experience across real estate investment and funds management, particularly across the industrial, office and retail sectors. He has operated within large, institutional-grade property platforms and brings deep expertise in fund structuring, investment oversight, stakeholder engagement and investment strategy execution across multiple market cycles.
Over the past 12 years, Tim has played a central role in the growth of a funds management platform to $2.5 billion, providing direct experience in scaling investment vehicles, building institutional capital partnerships and expanding multi-sector portfolios.
Strengthening DCP’s Funds Management Platform
In his role at DCP, Tim will work closely with the Directors and investment team to support the continued development of the group’s funds management platform.
His responsibilities will include:
Supporting investment origination across multiple asset classes
Oversight of DCP’s funds management operations
Supporting capital raising and investor engagement
Enhancing reporting and compliance frameworks
Contributing to DCP’s investment committee processes
The appointment strengthens DCP’s strategy to broaden its funds management capabilities across multiple market sectors while maintaining the disciplined, fundamentals-led investment philosophy that underpins the firm’s approach and supports the strong outcomes reflected in DCP’s investment track record.
Tim’s remit also includes supporting the diversification of DCP’s investment capabilities, enabling the business to evaluate and progress opportunities across a wider range of asset classes as market conditions and investor demand evolve.
