Known for his flexible, intelligent solutions to complex financial issues and lateral thinking, James has over 30 years’ experience in the corporate financial sector having commenced his professional career with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu before establishing HMW Partners (HMW) in 1991 which then went on to merge and rebrand as HMW Group.
A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand, James’ clients benefit from his extensive business network, knowledge and experience in construction, property development and investment trusts, equity and debt raisings, and financial syndications. His expertise further extends across complex accounting and taxation issues, financial modelling and corporate business planning.
James has an in-depth understanding of valuation methodologies, risk assessment, financial modelling techniques and corporate business planning and growth, and has worked with clients to successfully structure and sell businesses across Australia and internationally.
Managing Director
Ed is an experienced commercial property agent, advisor and investor with over 25 years expertise in land sales, development, leasing, design and construct projects. As Founding Partner of DCP, Ed’s passion for industrial and commercial investment has resulted in the completion of 23 property syndicates, in excess of $336M. His ability to collaborate with fellow industry leaders has seen project outcomes that are best in practice and champion sustainability pillars. He spent over 15 years as Senior Director of CBRE Industrial Capital Markets, and under his leadership, the business become market leader. Experience from dealing in all aspects of the development, sale and leasing process has enabled Ed to recognise value in a deal quickly; he looks beyond the now and understands the process of moving forward. As a result, his is a track record of sourcing investments with secure tenants and strong underlying asset fundamentals.
